You can't just erase the situation by clicking the "ERASE" button.
I was at my sister's birthday party, my phone vibrates, it's an unknown number. I open the text message and notice that it's a picture of two stick figures, one whipping another, i.e. slavery, making fun of me being half african american. I didn't know how to react, suddenly tears start pouring out. My father walks over to see what was wrong with me, as I show him the text message I could feel his anger building up inside of him. This was no joke, it was racism. My dad gets the number from me and asks a friend of his to search the number to find out who it was, I do the same by asking my close friend. About 20 minutes later I get a call from the friend that I asked, she told me who it was and I was shocked. It was a boy that sat next to me in my english class, I've never talked to him except for maybe twice when I didn't get something. A couple days later my dad took the situation to the police department, and then about a week later the date was set for "pre-court". I told my family over and over that I didn't want to take the situation to the police department and that it was "no big deal", but I am glad they did. The boy recieved a warning but it would still be on his permanent record. If you recieve any rude or disturbing texts from unknown or even known numbers, tell someone you trust, because if you let them get away with it once, they will keep doing it. You can't erase a situation by just pressing the "ERASE" button on your phone.

Hello
I am 14 years old. I am being cyber bullied and have been for about 3 years now. I have been bullied through: texts, calls, posts on Facebook, and even through physical contact. My nickname in school is "Halfrican", I am bi-racial. At one point in time the bullying got to the point where I contacted the police department. I have recieved picture messages with examples of slavery, been called horrible names, I've even recieved death threats. People that I thought were my friends, became my enemies. This blog is for teens to post their cyber bullying experiences and to let everyone know you are not the only one this is happening to, "you're not alone".
I hope "Frenimies B Gone" helps you talk about your bullying experiences and gives comfort to you in knowing you are not alone. There are many of us out there. I personally want you I care and I really can relate to some of your stories.
So let me know your reaction to the "frenimie" blog site. And maybe you can share how you learned to cope with cyber bullying. I know your experiences and thoughts will help someone, if not just yourself.
